Duties

• Manage a personal injury caseload from initiation through resolution.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies based on case specifics.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court proceedings.
• Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing parties.
• Prepare cases for trial and participate when necessary.
• Review medical records, bills, and expert reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case status.
• Collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and attorneys.
• Maintain accurate and timely case notes and documentation.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement opportunities.
• Handle a high-volume caseload with attention to detail.

Requirements

• Florida Bar admission in good standing.
• Personal injury litigation experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Florida personal injury law and civil litigation procedures.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Experience handling hearings, mediations, and litigation independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Trial experience is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar.
