A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for its Indianapolis, Milwaukee, and Detroit offices. This role focuses on transactional work, specifically within corporate and real estate practices, requiring a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

Duties

• Draft corporate agreements and prepare real estate documents.



• Review title reports and manage multiple transactional matters simultaneously.



• Collaborate with team members to handle complex business law needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in transactional work.



• Licensed to practice in at least one of the following states: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, or Wisconsin.



• Outstanding organizational skills and high attention to detail.



• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, or Wisconsin.

Skills

• Experience with drafting corporate agreements and reviewing title.



• Background working in-house for a company or financial institution is preferred.



• Experience or interest in public financing in real estate development is a plus.



• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
