Duties

• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and settlement offers to negotiate favorable resolutions.



• Prepare cases for trial and represent clients in court proceedings, including jury trials, as first chair counsel.



• Evaluate claims and liabilities to determine the best legal strategy and achieve maximum compensation for damages.

Requirements

• Hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.



• Demonstrate six or more years of litigation experience in civil practice.



• Be a member of the Colorado Bar in good standing.



• Exhibit superb negotiation skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.



• Work independently in an office environment while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Colorado Bar in good standing.

Skills

• Experience with five or more jury trials as first chair is preferred.



• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.



• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



• Ability to evaluate claims and manage complex litigation matters.
