A law firm seeks an entry-level Personal Injury Litigation Attorney in Tampa, FL. This role offers a unique opportunity for a recent law school graduate or new attorney to develop into a skilled personal injury litigator through hands-on experience and mentorship.

Duties

• Draft complaints, motions, pleadings, notices, and legal memoranda.
• Prepare and respond to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis.
• Review medical records, evidence, discovery, and litigation materials.
• Communicate directly with clients.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions.
• Attend depositions, mediations, and hearings.
• Work with experts, medical providers, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Assist with litigation strategy and case evaluation.
• Participate in settlement negotiations.
• Prepare cases for trial and manage litigation matters.

Requirements

• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing or eligible for imminent admission.
• 0-1 year of attorney experience.
• Genuine interest in plaintiff-side personal injury and civil litigation.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Coachable and receptive to feedback.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to develop as a litigator.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to The Florida Bar or eligibility for imminent admission.
