Duties

• Open and administer intestate estates in Florida probate court.
• Prepare and file necessary probate documents, including petitions and inventories.
• Serve as the primary legal contact for families, providing guidance and support.
• Coordinate with internal teams to focus on legal strategy and filings.
• Manage a high-volume caseload with precision and attention to detail.
• Handle both uncontested and contested probate matters.
• Help establish scalable probate processes for the firm.

Requirements

• Florida Bar membership with substantial probate and estate administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Florida Probate Code and related legal processes.
• Highly organized and process-oriented with the ability to manage a high-volume docket.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to help shape a new practice area.
• Strong communication skills with families and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in contested probate matters is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
