Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid to senior level transactional associate to join its Corporate & Securities Practice Group in Winston Salem, NC. The associate will work collaboratively within a multi-office team, representing public company clients across various industries. This role offers exposure to complex securities, corporate governance, capital markets, and regulatory matters.

Duties

• Represent large Nasdaq and NYSE-listed public company clients.
• Engage in securities law, disclosure, governance, and transactional matters.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team across multiple offices.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of corporate & securities experience at a large regional or national law firm.
• Experience with Securities Act of 1933 and Securities Exchange Act of 1934 matters.
• Prior service with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is a plus.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical abilities.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction or eligible to become licensed.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law.

Skills

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with equity and debt offerings, proxy statements, and periodic reporting.
