A law firm seeks a dynamic Real Estate Associate Attorney in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The successful candidate will collaborate with partners and senior associates to provide exceptional legal representation and advisory services. This role demands expertise in the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and disposition of commercial real estate properties.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and loan documents.
• Conduct and coordinate real estate due diligence, including title and survey review.
• Manage and close real estate transactions from term sheet to post-closing.
• Advise clients on real estate legal issues, including land use and landlord-tenant matters.
• Ensure compliance with real estate laws and regulations.
• Liaise with brokers, lenders, and outside counsel as needed.
• Assist with litigation matters related to real estate disputes, if applicable.
• Maintain organized records and support risk management initiatives.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
• 3-6 years of relevant real estate law experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships at all levels.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines.
• Technologically proficient with experience using legal software and tools.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.

Skills
