Duties

• Provide legal counsel and representation in criminal defense cases, including felony and misdemeanor matters.



• Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents, motions, and briefs.



• Represent clients in court proceedings, including jury trials and hearings.



• Develop comprehensive case strategies in collaboration with the legal team.



• Travel as needed for court appearances and client meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in criminal law as a prosecutor or public defender.



• Current license to practice law in the state of Colorado.



• Strong writing, research, presentation, and trial skills.



• Experience handling complex and challenging criminal cases.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Colorado State Bar membership.

Skills

• Expertise in criminal defense litigation and trial advocacy.



• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile team environment.
