Duties

• Interact with clients and staff professionally and diligently.
• Prepare motions, objections, claims, and orders for bankruptcy cases.
• Defend litigated and contested matters, including adversary complaints and appeals.
• Attend court hearings related to bankruptcy matters.
• Represent clients in mortgage mediation matters.
• Manage case load to meet goals and client expectations.
• Handle escalated and time-sensitive matters.
• Maintain positive relationships with attorneys and staff.
• Assist with other duties and special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor of Law with Nevada Bar License.
• 1-10 years of bankruptcy experience, preferably representing lenders and creditors.
• Admitted to practice in Federal District Courts in Nevada.
• Reside in Nevada, preferably in Las Vegas area.
• Understanding of Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy procedures and laws.
• Litigation experience, preferably with adversary complaints and appeals.
• Familiarity with court procedures and practice.
• Proficiency with numbers and basic accounting.

Education

• Juris Doctor of Law.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Nevada.
