Duties

• Advise school districts and educational institutions on education law matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, policies, contracts, and correspondence.
• Assist with education-related litigation, administrative proceedings, and dispute resolution.
• Research and analyze issues involving student discipline, special education, and school policies.
• Advise clients on education regulations and compliance requirements.
• Support attorneys with litigation, transactional, and advisory matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, school administrators, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Experience in education law, preferably with school districts or educational institutions.
• Ability to manage matters independently and communicate effectively with clients.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of California.
