A law firm seeks a mid-level to senior Commercial Contracts and Technology Solutions associate to join its team, with Raleigh, NC as the preferred office location. The firm is also open to candidates based in Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Dallas, or New York. This role involves drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements while leveraging legal AI technologies.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial contracts, including manufacturing, supply, distribution, services, consulting, development, collaboration, reseller, and licensing agreements.



• Collaborate with experienced attorneys to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.



• Utilize general AI tools and demonstrate a willingness to learn and leverage emerging legal AI technologies.



• Provide high-quality client service and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.



• Technologically savvy with a demonstrated interest in legal AI tools.



• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.



• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Proficiency in commercial contract law and negotiation.



• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
