Duties

• Prepare patent applications for filing with the US Patent and Trademark Office.
• Evaluate the underlying technology of inventions.
• Conduct opinion writing and client counseling.
• Provide litigation support and technical assistance on projects.

Requirements

• Prior patent prosecution experience required.
• Previous work experience in AI, Machine Learning, Large Language Models, or Software is required.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science strongly preferred.

Certifications

• USPTO registration number required.

Skills

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with scientific contributors to define invention scope.
