A law firm seeks a Corporate Tax Attorney to join its Tax practice in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will possess four to eight years of experience advising individual and business clients on complex tax matters, including planning, corporate formation, and transactional structures.

Duties

• Advise clients on federal and state tax implications, choice of entity, and tax planning strategies for business transactions.



• Manage matters related to acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, restructurings, and deal structures.



• Handle federal tax audits, administrative appeals, and interactions with state and local taxing authorities.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state where the office is located.



• Demonstrated ability to function independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.



• Strong academic achievement and a track record of self-starting with comfort in client interaction.

Education

• LL.M. in taxation is required.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Experience with cross-border matters or complex business transactions is desired.



• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
