A law firm seeks an experienced Business Trial Attorney to join their team in Nashville, TN. This role offers the opportunity to handle high-value business cases on a contingency fee basis, providing autonomy and the chance to build a significant presence in the market.

Duties

• Handle business cases from intake through trial, including motion practice and jury trials.
• Represent clients in cases of contract breaches, professional negligence, and construction defects.
• Develop referral relationships with attorneys, professionals, and business owners.
• Represent the firm at conferences and industry events.
• Collaborate with a team of trial attorneys and a dedicated paralegal.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 5 to 10 years of litigation experience with trial experience.
• Active bar membership in good standing in Georgia or Tennessee.
• Strong litigation skills: motion practice, discovery, depositions, and courtroom experience.
• Self-starter with a strong ability to build relationships and network.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in Georgia or Tennessee.
