A law firm seeks a highly qualified junior associate to join their Strategic Technology Transactions and Licensing group in Redwood City. The associate will engage in IP licensing and technology transactions, providing IP support in M&A, venture financings, and other corporate transactions. This role offers the opportunity to draft and negotiate various agreements, including technology and IP licenses, customer agreements, and strategic alliances.

Duties

• Work on IP licensing and technology transactions.
• Provide IP support in M&A and venture financings.
• Draft and negotiate technology and IP license agreements.
• Manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Experience or interest in technology transactions or related commercial work.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently.
• Genuine curiosity about technology, including AI and open source software.

Education

• Outstanding academic credentials.

Certifications

• Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
