Duties

• Assist with and manage aspects of mass tort litigation, including legal research, case preparation, discovery, and trial preparation.



• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and settlement-related documents.



• Participate in depositions and develop courtroom advocacy skills with guidance from experienced attorneys.



• Review and analyze medical records, case files, and other relevant documentation to support case strategies.



• Communicate directly with clients to provide updates, gather information, and manage expectations.



• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and move cases toward resolution.



• Maintain detailed case files and documentation to support effective case management.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of legal experience preferred, including experience in personal injury, mass tort litigation, civil litigation, or a related practice area.



• Strong legal research and writing skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.



• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.



• Willingness to learn, receive feedback, collaborate with a team, and grow into greater responsibility.



• Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines while working effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission is preferred.

Skills

• Experience with depositions and briefing is preferred (3 years preferred).



• Interest in developing courtroom advocacy and deposition skills.



• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
