A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Attorney in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate will manage complex commercial disputes, professional liability claims, and employment law matters. This role requires a licensed Florida attorney with strong litigation skills and a commitment to providing exceptional client counsel.

Duties

• Practice commercial litigation, professional liability, and employment law matters.


• Take and defend depositions, draft and argue dispositive motions, and attend hearings, mediations, and trials.


• Perform legal research, analyze case law, and prepare pleadings and correspondence.


• Communicate effectively with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel to provide exemplary legal counsel.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar.


• Must have 2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial litigation, professional liability, and/or employment law.


• Demonstrate strong academic credentials and excellent research and writing skills.


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.
