A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney in Fort Lauderdale, FL, to join their intellectual property practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong litigation skills to handle a diverse range of intellectual property and commercial disputes in both federal and state courts.

Duties

• Handle litigation matters in both federal and state courts, including intellectual property infringement and general commercial disputes.
• Manage trademark-related proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).
• Conduct comprehensive legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and manage discovery processes.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings and other litigation proceedings.

Requirements

• Approximately 2-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in both federal and state courts.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Sound legal judgment and the ability to manage multiple matters effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Experience with intellectual property litigation is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with trademark disputes and TTAB proceedings is a plus.
