Duties

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.

• Conduct thorough legal research and stay current with evolving family law statutes and case law.



• Attend court hearings and trials, presenting cases effectively and advocating for client interests.



• Provide strategic legal advice and ongoing support to clients throughout the litigation process.



• Collaborate with paralegals and administrative staff to ensure efficient case management and client care.

Requirements

• Admission to the Maryland state bar and maintain good standing.



• 2-7 years of experience in family law litigation.



• Strong analytical, research, and legal writing skills.



• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and negotiation.



• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.



• Commitment to providing high-quality, ethical legal representation.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Maryland.

Skills

• Proficiency in legal research databases and case management technology.
