Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with two to four years of experience in medical negligence defense and litigation to join their Medical Negligence Practice Group in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of medical negligence cases, including pre-litigation analysis, pleadings, discovery, depositions, court appearances, motions, mediations, trials, and client reporting.

Duties

• Conduct pre-litigation analysis and prepare pleadings.
• Manage discovery and conduct depositions.
• Represent clients in court appearances and motions.
• Participate in mediations and trials.
• Provide comprehensive client reporting.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in the State of Illinois.
• Experience in personal injury cases preferred.
• Experience defending medical malpractice cases is a plus.
• Excellent research and writing skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
