A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join their Real Estate Finance group in Dallas, TX, with a preference for candidates in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate financing transactions.

Duties

• Represent lenders/buyers and/or borrowers/sellers in financing transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate financing documents.
• Manage due diligence and transaction closings.
• Handle loan originations, refinancings, and restructurings.
• Work on preferred equity financings and warehouse lending structures.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in a law firm or similar environment.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of intended practice.

Skills

• Team-oriented with ambition and drive.
• Experience with loan sales and assignments.
• Knowledge of CRE repurchase facilities and note-on-note transactions.
