A law firm seeks a mid-level Capital Markets Associate to join their Corporate Practice Group in Houston, TX. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated capital markets transactions, including debt, equity, and equity-linked products, with direct client exposure and mentorship.

Duties

• Handle '33 and '34 Act matters.
• Manage IPOs, follow-on, and other equity offerings.
• Oversee high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings.
• Conduct private placement offerings.
• Advise on corporate governance and SEC reporting matters.
• Address exchange listing matters.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience advising issuers and underwriters on capital markets financings.
• Proven ability to manage day-to-day client relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under time pressures while collaborating effectively.
• Admission to the bar in the state of application.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• State Bar Admission.
