A law firm seeks a pre-litigation attorney to serve as a Pre-Suit Attorney in Birmingham, Alabama. The role involves managing pre-litigation work, guiding clients, and overseeing settlement negotiations in personal injury cases, primarily general liability.

Duties

• Handle day-to-day pre-litigation work.
• Complete Flip-to-Lit approval.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Draft and file pre-litigation documents.
• Complete TD approval for liability issues.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and demand packages.
• Manage the release approval process.
• Lead a team of 6-10 Case Managers.
• Focus on personal injury cases, primarily general liability.
• Drive compliance and KPIs among the team.
• Conduct EUOs, PIP Statements, and recorded statements.

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the AL State Bar Association.
• 1+ years of personal injury experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of pre-lit cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Desire to become part of a trial team.

Education

• Law degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Active membership with the AL State Bar Association.
