Duties

• Draft and negotiate residential contracts of sale.
• Conduct due diligence for residential transactions.
• Coordinate and attend real estate closings.
• Communicate with clients, brokers, and opposing counsel.
• Support commercial real estate matters, including work with condo/co-op boards.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of legal experience in real estate transactions.
• Juris Doctorate degree.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines.
• Must have access to a car.

Education

• Juris Doctorate degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to NY State Bar preferred.

Skills

• Prior experience handling residential closings preferred.
• Exposure to or interest in commercial real estate.
• Business development ability is a plus.
