Job Overview

Duties

• Conduct factual investigations, manage discovery, and prepare pleadings for complex commercial cases.



• Take depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings.



• Communicate effectively with clients and articulate legal strategies under pressure.



• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while demonstrating exceptional judgment and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience in all phases of complex commercial litigation.



• Active bar license in Delaware or Illinois, or a commitment to obtaining one immediately.



• Experience in both state and federal court is preferred; administrative and arbitration experience is beneficial.



• Second-chair trial or arbitration experience is preferred but not required.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in Delaware or Illinois.
