Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced M&A and Project Finance Associate to join its Roseland, NJ office. The ideal candidate will support complex transactions and provide strategic legal counsel to clients in these specialized practice areas.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate merger agreements, acquisition documents, and related transactional instruments.



• Conduct due diligence and manage closing processes for domestic and international deals.



• Advise clients on regulatory compliance, financing structures, and risk mitigation strategies.



• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and high-quality legal services.

Requirements

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required.



• Class years 2019 through 2021 are preferred.



• Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions or project finance matters.



• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in New Jersey.
