Duties

• Advise individuals and families on estate planning strategies.
• Draft sophisticated estate planning documents.
• Assist clients with wealth preservation and succession planning.
• Prepare and review wills, trusts, and related documents.
• Advise on estate and gift tax planning and asset protection.
• Develop customized estate plans for clients.
• Assist with probate and administration proceedings.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in New York State.
• Preferably 4+ years of experience in trusts and estates planning or related areas.
• Experience drafting estate planning documents and advising clients.
• Familiarity with Surrogate's Court procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree (J.D.)

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York State
