Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level to senior associate with 4-8 years of experience to join the Technology Transactions, Cybersecurity, and Privacy Practice Group in Tampa, FL. The candidate will focus on technology transactions in the health care and life sciences sectors.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial technology agreements, including software and SaaS agreements.
• Handle data licensing and use agreements, cloud services agreements, and professional services agreements.
• Advise on strategic collaboration agreements and digital health products and services.
• Provide guidance on privacy and data security laws applicable to health care and technology.
• Manage transactions independently and collaborate with senior attorneys and clients.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of relevant experience in technology transactions.
• Experience with health technology and artificial intelligence matters preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent academic credentials and communication skills.
• Active member in good standing of the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) where admitted.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in the state of employment required.

Skills

• Strong writing, drafting, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and prioritize tasks effectively.
