The ideal candidate will manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution, work directly with clients, and negotiate settlements. Duties

• Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial.
• Evaluate liability, damages, insurance coverage, and case value.
• Develop strategy for maximizing case results.
• Communicate directly and regularly with clients.
• Prepare and present settlement demands.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and defense counsel.
• File lawsuits and manage cases through litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Prepare cases for trial when appropriate.
• Research and negotiate medical liens and subrogation claims.
• Assist with new client evaluations and case selection.

Requirements

• Active Missouri law license.
• Personal injury experience in pre-litigation, litigation, or both.
• Ability to independently manage personal injury matters.
• Strong negotiation and case-evaluation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong client-service skills.
• Professionalism, judgment, and work ethic.
• Commitment to advocating for injured clients.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active Missouri law license.
