A law firm seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney in Burtonsville, MD. The ideal candidate will expand into Immigration litigation, defending clients in Removal Proceedings and participating in multi-state Federal Habeas Corpus litigation.

Duties

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases.
• Engage in immigration litigation, including Removal Proceedings.
• Participate in Federal Habeas Corpus litigation across multiple states.
• Collaborate with a team in a busy trial schedule.
• Assist a vulnerable population with legal processes.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Civil Litigation.
• Licensed to practice law in Maryland.
• Federal Civil Litigation experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new practice areas.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Maryland Bar License.
