A law firm seeks an experienced Energy Regulatory Attorney in Syracuse, NY. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned professionals on energy matters across the Northeast.

Duties

• Represent clients in administrative, siting, and permitting proceedings.
• Handle regulatory approval processes under Public Service Law and related statutes.
• Engage with ISO/RTO tariffs and interconnection processes.
• Participate in NYSERDA programs and ESCO regulatory matters.
• Assist in utility rate cases and energy asset transactions.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in New York State or eligible for waiver.
• Four to eight years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in proceedings before New York State energy agencies.
• Experience with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission proceedings is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
