Duties

• Provide legal representation and counsel to clients, assessing facts and advising on complex business real estate matters.
• Manage complex matters independently or as a lead attorney, requiring minimal supervision to ensure successful outcomes.
• Respond to client concerns promptly to foster trust, retain existing business, and expand client relationships.
• Participate in industry organizations and committees to enhance the firm's visibility and professional standing.
• Meet a billable hours requirement of 1,600 annually while contributing to a positive and respectful work environment.

Requirements

• Hold a J.D. and maintain an active California Bar license.
• Demonstrate at least five years of experience as a licensed California attorney.
• Possess substantial litigation and trial experience, which is required for this position.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to engage regularly with clients on diverse practice topics.
• Ability to multi-task and meet inflexible deadlines effectively in both team and independent settings.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California Bar license.

Skills

• Experience in landlord-tenant matters is preferred.
• Background in real estate law is preferred.
