The attorney will work closely with senior partners and associates to effectively serve clients and gain valuable court experience.

Duties

• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings.
• Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks.
• Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action.
• Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence.

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience in commercial litigation, corporate work, real estate litigation, and business disputes.
• Jury trial experience, second chair acceptable.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Creative problem-solving skills and flexibility.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer and time management skills.
• High degree of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
