A law firm seeks a full-time Senior Attorney in Hurricane, UT. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, including real estate, business, probate, and personal injury. The attorney will manage cases from initial consultation through resolution, either by settlement or trial.

Duties

• Meet with and retain potential clients.
• Independently manage a large caseload.
• Analyze the probable outcome of cases.
• Present and summarize cases to judges.
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies for case presentation.
• Educate and advocate for clients.
• Prepare and draft legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on firm-wide caseload.
• Meet annual billing requirements.

Requirements

• Member of the Utah State Bar.
• Experience in civil litigation.
• Ability to handle a full caseload efficiently.
• Excellent creative writing skills.

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to handle high stress.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
