Assistant Director of Compliance / Eligibility Coordinator
The candidate will assist the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance in running the day-to-day operations of the compliance unit. Responsible for the certification of NCAA academic eligibility for all student-athletes. Coordinates all APR/GSR related issues (e.g., data input, analyses, projections, waivers, etc.). Provides assistance to coaching staff in the recruitment of student athletes. Reviews academic records and monitors academic progress of student athletes for respective sports. Updates coaches on academic progress of student athletes for respective sports. Develops academic assistance and development programs to meet the needs of individual student-athletes. Maintains thorough knowledge of university academic programming for application to NCAA progress towards degree regulations. Maintains thorough knowledge of and adheres to all applicable University, conference and NCAA rules and regulations. Assists with other duties/projects as assigned/directed. Bachelor’s degree is required. Must have working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
