Siemens Mobility is hiring for a Sales Director with focusednefforts on our relationship with MTA. This role works with senior management tonhelp own the strategy for offers, partnerships, contracts and othernsophisticated sales-related scenarios required to achieve short- and long-termnobjectives with NYCT, LIRR, MNR, and PATH. Our team orchestrates thendevelopment of sales proposals for projects and service opportunities innalignment with the sales strategy. We develop sales strategies to protect andnexpand Siemens' share in transit market. You should understand technology andnsystems concepts, regulating authorities, code requirements, and other MTAnspecific factors. We'd love to have you join our team where Siemens is amongnthe Top 100 Employers associated with Diversity & Inclusion in the UnitednStates!Areas of Responsibility:n Work under the mentorshipn of senior management, executive team (both US and German), legal,n engineering and R&D to develop strategies for commercial and technicaln success with the MTAn Build relationships withn contacts across the partner network in the passenger rail market.n Supervise opportunityn pipeline (short and long term), evaluate and communicate market trends ton help set-up current a future sales strategyn Develop understanding ofn different signaling technologies and the ability to understand customern benefits and apply the best solution for given application.n Ensures and activelyn participates in the development of project estimates and proposals byn analyzing drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation inn order to prepare time, cost, material, and labor estimates for products,n projects, or services for the railroad and rail transit signal systemn market.n Understand and drive then review of contractual requirements and technical specifications ton determine winning sales approach.nRequired Education and Experience:Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts,npractices, and procedures for area led and expert knowledge of other areas innthe company and how they interact.
