Assistant Dean and Chief of Staff
Duties: Serve as a member of the School of Law's leadership team, report directly to the Dean, and work in partnership with the Dean, his cabinet, and leaders across and other institutions to set strategy, establish metrics, drive strategic decision-making, and ensure results. Track progress in internal strategic planning. Marshal appropriate resources and develop and implement policy objectives, strategies, and operating plans for various school-wide initiatives. Act as close advisor to the Dean. Draft significant internal communications and ensure the effectiveness of the internal communication processes of the School and between the School and other offices as appropriate. Serve as the Dean's designate to other Deans, President, Provost, as well as trustees, faculty, students, and other audiences. Manage staff, operations, and budget for the Dean’s Office.
