Assistant/Associate Professor of Political Science, Law or Legal Studies
The candidate must be passionate about teaching, research, and service to fill a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position beginning in August 2020. Will be primarily responsible for teaching program curriculum in the area of Prelaw/Legal Studies, as well as updating the program by creating new courses. In addition, the position includes a responsibility to teach various courses in the larger area of Political Science. The Faculty contractual duties include: conducting scholarly activities in his/her particular field; developing and supervising interns and field experiences in the judicial field; developing classroom simulations such as Moot Court & Mock Trials; directing student research, field projects, professional papers and theses; demonstrating a proficiency in various modes of distance education; advising discipline majors/minors; and performing other related duties as required.
