The candidate will demonstrate support for diversity, equity and inclusiveness as well as participate in maintaining a respectful, positive work environment. Will provide immigration-related legal services to students, staff and families associated with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (firm's) and the College of Southern Nevada (CSN). Split time between the firm's and CSN campuses, and will also organize and lead community service and education programs, especially those addressing immigration issues for the firm's and CSN communities. Part of the legal team in the firm's Immigration Clinic and may take on other law practice and community services roles as part of the Clinic’s overall mission. Should have Juris Doctorate degree from a regionally accredited college or university and an attorney license in good-standing in a U.S. State. 2019 law graduates who are taking the bar exam in Summer 2019 may be considered, but any employment offer would be conditional on successfully receiving a license. Must have effective legal writing. Must have public speaking skills.
