Lecturer Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology
Candidate will be teaching undergraduate fire protection related courses online and on campus to a diverse range of students. Must have: A master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent international institution in a relevant discipline is required; doctorate or JD Degree is preferred. Excellence in, and a commitment to, teaching are essential. A mix of active research, publication, certification/licensure, experience and public service are preferred. Will have practical documented experience in one or more of the following fields: Forensic investigation of fires and/or explosion incidents involving explosives and/or gaseous fuels; Fire Protection Engineering or directly related fields; Chief level administration of a multifaceted Fire/Emergency services organization. Experience in the litigation process including legal aspects of civil and criminal litigation procedure involved in fire protection, investigation and/or fire administration will also be considered.
