Duties: Work 100% on immunology research in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. Use experience in autoimmunity and cellular immunology techniques to launch studies on understanding how the mouse T lymphocyte response to pathogens, tumors and allergens is influenced by exposure to natural mouse pathogens, and to study the function of the transcription factor KLF2 in control of T cell function and trafficking. For some of these studies, will work within a team of other lab personnel. Like other postdocs and students, will be expected to participate in lab meetings and presentations to the immunology group, play an active role in writing manuscripts to publish findings and to attend national/international conferences to present their work.
