Director Public Interest Careers and Programs
The candidate will support student career development with a focus on public interest careers. In partnership with faculty and staff, cultivates public interest and pro bono engagement in the law school community as a whole. Provide counseling to law students and alumni specifically in connection with public interest careers and pro bono activities, and design and provide programming for student audience on public interest issues and careers, including fellowships. Co-coordinate Public Interest Public Service Job Fair, involving nine law schools and approximately 40 employers, and coordinate student participation in EJW Career Fair. Help monitor and coordinate the many aspects of public interest at the law school, ensuring that information and resources regarding public interest activities are communicated and offered to students and the broader public in a clear, comprehensive and efficient manner. Identify and manage community service experiences for Temple Law students, staff and faculty in our North Philadelphia neighborhood and beyond. This position reports to the Assistant Dean for Career Services. Performs other duties as assigned.
