Java/PHP Developer

Profile

Candidates must be willing to work in a fast paced environment requiring broad experience, adaptability, quick learning and excellent problem solving skills. The individual will be responsible for supporting and enhancing business systems/applications. This includes providing application support, analysis, and design related to applications running expansive business systems/functions as well as finding innovative and cutting edge solutions to business needs. The ideal candidate exhibits strong communication skills, good judgment, high standards, can dive deep and remain in touch with business details, proactively look for areas of improvement, mentor other team members, can think big, and deliver results.
Required Experience: ** Java development ** Linux fundamentals and shell scripting experience ** SQL ** Object Oriented Design ** 8 to 10 years of application/software development experience. ** Experience with Service Oriented Architecture or Web Services ** Experience in full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and support ** Desire to identify real-world user problems and building technology solutions to solve them ** Excellent Communication / interaction skills and ability to effectively document issues, resolutions and requirements ** Experience working on a team ** Knowledge of Linux/UNIX fundamentals ** Well versed with relational databases ** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience. Preferred Experience: ** Familiar with Agile Development process ** Mobile device application development ** Graphic design experience. ** Experience in developing mobile websites. ** PostgreSQL 8.4 or above ** PHP5 ** Experience with 5 ** Mobile device application development ** PERL
