Profile
Develops, codes, tests and debugs new software or enhancements to a utility Customer Information System.
Works with technical staff and business team to understand and analyze system changes. Reviews existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs
Experience / Skills
3 years’ experience COBOL
2 years’ experience with DB2 Strong SQL and analytical skills.
2 Years working in CICS environment
3 years JCL
FTP mainframe to server
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work experience.
Testing position must be familiar with developing and executing test scenarios for complex business applications.
Preferences
Web Services, HTML, Java Script a plus
Familiarity with energy industry and business vernacular a plus.
