Associate Director of Career Development and Judicial Clerkship Coordinator
Duties: Assist the Director in providing career planning services to students and alumni of the Boyd School of Law. Will focus on providing specialized services to those students and graduates who begin their careers in judicial clerkships and in law firms. Overseeing the judicial clerkship application process, advising students seeking clerkships or applying to law firms, creating programming to educate students about these areas, building and maintaining relationships with judges, judicial staff, and law firms, creating opportunities for students to network with employers, and counseling students generally but with particular focus on judicial clerkships and private practice. Assist in coordinating on-campus interview programs, overseeing fellowship and internship programs, and planning and executing networking receptions and mock interview programs.
