The candidate to begin Fall 2020. Will teach courses in the undergraduate program including Research Methods and Introduction to Criminal Justice. Must be willing to serve as the coordinator of the CJBS Major (Criminal Justice Bachelor of Science), which includes assessment and curricular development for a large major of over 4,000 students. 2 years of successful college-level teaching experience is required, as are positive teaching evaluations. Candidates are expected to have expertise in criminal justice and research methods. Must have a master’s degree, J.D., or Ph.D. in a related field at the time of appointment. Also required is the ability to teach successfully, a willingness to participate in course and program development, and the ability to work with others.
