Associate Attorney - Family Law
The candidate will be responsible for assigned cases, drafting pleadings, communication with clients and opposing counsel, attending some court hearings, moving cases along through an organized system, and preparation/completion of cases. Drafting and reviewing discovery, assessing sufficiency of response, drafting meet and confer letters, and drafting and responding to motions to compel. Preparing and reviewing declarations of disclosure. Should have 1+ year of family law experience, preferably in Placer, Sacramento, Yolo, and El Dorado counties. Experience with Clio Manage, Clio Grow/Lexicata, LawYaw and Dissomaster a plus. Experience in drafting declarations, memorandum of points and authorities, responding to motions for spousal support, child support, child custody, set aside of judgment, and property-related issues desired.
