The candidate teach introductory classes, classes related to CJ and homeland security, and classes in corrections and courts. Experience teaching online is preferred and willingness to teach online is required. The position requires a terminal degree in the field (PhD, JD, or equivalent), and the ability & experience to teach a range of CJ classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Successful candidates will have enthusiasm for the subject, proven teaching effectiveness, organization, professionalism, collegiality, & a passion for helping students learn and succeed.
