Build Online Auction Site

Build Online Auction Site
A well-established Central Florida firm has the need for highly effective online auction system. Please note, we are only accepting applications from software developers with prior experience creating online auction websites.
Some of the features and benefits we wish to include in our new online auction website:
1. Running the entire auction system on either a server in-house or a server at an outside server farm. We do not want this system running on another online auction or online auction software company website. We use Windows software. We have sufficient room and capabilities for the server including an exceptionally fast fiber-optic line all the way to our office.
2. The ability to run multiple auctions simultaneously with no displayed connection between any of the auctions. In other words, those participating in one auction will have no knowledge of other auctions running at the same time.
3. The ability to register individual URLs for the individual auctions. This can be done by Go Daddy or other service.
4. Easily customizable landing pages for those individual auctions.
5. The ability to display 8 to 12 items in the auction. The flow by the bidders will be to enter on the landing page and then scroll down to short 15 to 35-word descriptions and a small picture the item. When they click on that item, they will be taken to another page with a much larger picture or group of pictures and a much more extensive verbal description of the item in the auction. We would also like the capability for bidders to further click to a video for each of the items in the auction. The hosting of the video could be in-house or on service such as Vimeo if the developer felt there was too much chance for clogging the fiber-optic pipeline.
6. When desired, the ability to require a credit card to register to bid in the auction.
7. The ability to “soft validate” each credit card entered at registration to confirm it is valid. We don’t want to do anything such as putting a one cent charge on the card or anything else of that nature. We have no need to know the available credit on the card. We just want to know it is a valid card.
8. At the close of the auction a complete bidding history for each item. It would show the name of the bidder, the amount bid, the time when bid, and the other information the bidder provided at registration. We would not need all the registration information presented at the end of the auction when reviewing all bids on an item, but want it easily available as needed.
9. The ability to log into the administrative section of each auction, during the auction or after the auction to see the progress or final results.
10. The ability to automatically acknowledge bidders via email or IM when they place their bids and notify them when they have been outbid.
11. A buy-it-now feature.
12. The absence of any other organization’s name or other identification on the website. For example, in one current system used by a competitor, when someone wishes to place a bid, they are automatically taken to a separate auction company website, with a different name, a different appearance and no connection to company conducting the online auction.
If you can provide such a system, either by assembling it from pre-existing elements, the adaptation of another system, or (hopefully not) writing original code, please respond with your contact information. Obviously, your name and email contact is a requirement. Including a telephone number is definitely preferred.
Important, this job is open only to software specialists with a history of developing online auction websites. We are not accepting applications from general website developers without a history of successfully developing online auction websites. We will discuss budgets and timelines with all applicants who meet the above criteria.
If you have the qualifications necessary for this assignment, we look forward to speaking with you as soon as possible.
