immediate
opening for a caregiver from 9 PM to 6 AM in Winnetka, IL caring for an elderly male client with mild to moderate dementia. We offer paid training, bonus incentives, and weekly pay. Surrounding suburbs include Niles, Winnetka, Evanston, Skokie, Glenview, Morton Grove Northbrook. Caregiver must be compassionate with experience working with clients who have dementia. The position requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Caregiver must be able to follow recommendations from our clinical team. The client lives in his own home with his spouse and has care during the day. The night shift is an awake shift seven days a week. Although ambulatory, the client is a fall risk, especially at night. We are seeking two caregivers to fill this position.
Job Requirements
Position requires knowledge of fall prevention and good reporting skills. Must be able to be awake with the client during the night and assist with ambulation when requested. The position requires a caregiver with demonstrated dementia experience and the ability to follow the instructions provided by our clinical team. Candidate must be patient and supportive. Candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass the IDPH healthcare worker background check. We are a drug-free workplace.
